Non appena arrivate in Thailandia, a parte lo choc anafilattico da porcello, per un consumo smodato durante la prima settimana, abbiamo anche scoperto un piatto fantastico: l'insalata di papaya verde - in thailandese Som Tam.

old friends,  new experiences

Many years have passed since the first time I had heard the joyous news of my old friend's marriage, and finally, after I've been promising my self that "next year" I'd go visit him, here I am, sitting on his porch, having a delicious Thai dinner with his lovely family. And on top of all, we even learnt how to make the delicious Tom Yum Kung!

Sono passati molti anni dalla prima volta che, dopo aver sentito la felice notizia del matrimonio del mio vecchio amico Till, mi ero ripromessa "l'anno prossimo vado a trovarlo” ed oggi, finalmente, eccomi qui, seduta sotto il suo portico, a gustare una deliziosa cena thai insieme alla sua bella famiglia. E, a coronamento del tutto, abbiamo imparato come preparare il delizioso Tom Yum Kung!
